Mark W. Rekow, CFP®
Mark is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and partner in Rekow Management. His passion is helping clients successfully navigate life’s challenges while pursuing the goals they have established. He and his wife and daughter live in Montevideo.
Valuing community organizations, Mark is involved actively in the programs committee of the Minnesota chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is a board member of Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, a member of the Chippewa County Volunteer Caregiver Program, and treasurer of Montevideo Area Community Foundation.
Mark appreciates the unique opportunities that each client brings to the financial planning and investment management process. Previously having worked several years in medical settings, counseling patients and their families struggling with health issues, he understands the importance of establishing clear, attainable goals and a systemic process for achieving them.
He and his family appreciate traveling, biking, tennis, skiing, running, and golf.
Charles K. Vomacka, CFP®
Charles, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, joined Rekow Management in 1995.
He works with clients in a partnership to construct personal financial plans consistent with their goals, including children’s educations, retirement planning, charitable giving, and other aspects of life.
With a good financial plan, clients understand their risk tolerance, and have an appreciation of how they would feel during market downturns. Clients need to understand their financial risks, mitigate them where possible, and adopt a savings and investment strategy to reach their goals. After completing a financial plan, clients are often less concerned about the future and more mindful of the present.
Charles' interests include benchmarking retirement plans to help plan sponsors determine if expenses and performances are reasonable as compared to other plans offered nationally.
He is a member of the Minnesota Financial Planning Association, volunteers checking water quality in local rivers, and enjoys motorcycling, traveling, and local history.
Shari joined Rekow Management, LLC, in 1999 and enjoys working with clients and business associates and handling a variety of responsibilities at the office.
She has over 30 years of experience working with small businesses around the community and appreciates the commitment individuals make to effectively manage their businesses and plan for their and their employees’ financial success.
Working with individuals and families as they plan and save to meet their goals, as well as watching retired individuals enjoy the benefits of adhering to their financial plan, has been a very rewarding part of her experience with the company.
Shari lives in Montevideo and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and pets, riding motorcycle, and traveling.
Client Services Representative
Melanie is a client relationship associate for Rekow Management. She provides internal administrative support and client management, and attends to the company’s day-to-day operations.
With over 20 years of financial and client services expertise, Melanie feels that each client’s needs are unique and important. Her focus is on helping individuals with all aspects of their financial lives by providing them with exceptional service and advice. She believes in treating every client as an individual, with caring attention, respect, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Melanie lives outside of Montevideo with her husband and two children where they run a family farming operation. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and outdoor activities. Besides helping on the farm she is very involved in her children’s activities.
